About the Peritus Clinic
The clinic conducts investigation, treatment and follow-up of patients with urological diseases as well as research and teaching. The business consists of both inpatient and outpatient care. The clinic opened in September 2020 and now has a steady flow of patients. Agreements are in place with Region Halland and the majority of the large insurance companies in Sweden. We are located at Medicon Village in Lund and are one of the country’s most modern and best equipped specialist clinics with its own X-ray department and operating room with four rooms including robot surgery. The investment means a significant strengthening of resources for healthcare in Sweden. We offer highly specialized care for primarily urological diseases.
About the service
You will work together with a committed and competent team that ensures a good patient care and high service. We are looking for you who are interested in working in multi-professional teams, have a good ability to work together and a positive attitude to process development and interest in modernizing care. The work includes the usual ward and reception work in both inpatient and outpatient care as well as participation in the clinic’s teaching assignments. Opportunity to conduct your own research work is available.
Education and experience
We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in urology. You should have good experience of transurethral surgery and preferably robotic surgery. You want to be involved in developing the Peritus Clinic to meet the future needs of healthcare. In addition to clinical work, research, development work and teaching form a certain part of the business and documented skills / interest in these areas are therefore a merit.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you are good at listening and you are clear in your communication. You collaborate well and are happy to exchange knowledge and experiences with others within the work group, regardless of profession. You have a positive mindset and see opportunities in change. You have an interest in education and research and are a knowledge resource for others. You take responsibility for your work in a committed way and take the initiative for improvements in the business from a holistic perspective. You have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language in both speech and writing corresponding to Swedish C1 as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives and colleagues unhindered.
