All our processing of personal data takes place in accordance with current data protection legislation and the EU Data Protection Regulation GDPR. This means, among other things, that we protect your personal data with the necessary technical and organizational security measures and that you always have the right to contact us to find out what personal data we have stored about you.

What is personal information?

Personal information is all information that in one way or another can be linked to a physical, now living person, whether that connection is direct or indirect. It can be a name, an email address, a phone number, a mailing address and a date of birth. Pictures and film sequences are also a form of personal information, if you can be clearly distinguished in the picture. Location data and IP addresses are other examples of personal data.

What personal data do we process at the Peritus Clinic?

We collect the personal information about you that is necessary for us to be able to conduct our business and to be able to provide all our patients with the necessary care.

Why do we process your personal data?

The Peritus Clinic only processes personal data if we have a legal basis for it. There may be various legal grounds for us to process your personal data; that it is necessary to be able to offer our services in a safe and secure way but also, when required, when we have to comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.

Who can we share your personal information with?

Your personal data is used by the employees in the Peritus Clinic who have been granted permission to take part in personal data in order to be able to perform their work.

In order to technically process your personal data, they will be transferred to the IT providers that provide our platforms. In these cases, we have made demands on the supplier to ensure that they handle the information in an appropriate and secure way.

Other than these circumstances, we do not disclose personal information to others unless we need to do so due to law, regulation or government decision or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.

 

Where is your personal information stored?

Your personal data is stored within the EU / EEA. Should the situation become such that your personal data needs to be stored outside the EU / EEA area (third country), we will let you know. In this case, the handling takes place in accordance with the protection rules contained in the data protection legislation.

How long do we store your information?

Your personal information is not stored longer than is necessary for each respective purpose. Laws and regulations may, however, prescribe different times for how long a personal data may be stored; for patient records, for example, these must by law be kept for at least ten years.

When your personal data is processed by us, you have certain rights that we must always accommodate in the best way.

Transparency and extract from the register

You have the right to request an extract from the register. This is free of charge and gives you information about which of your personal data we process, how we process it, how long we store it, as well as who takes part in it and which actors we may share it with.

Change data

You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected or to have incomplete personal data supplemented.

Delete data

In some cases, you have the right to have personal data deleted. It is also called “the right to be forgotten”. In these cases, the Peritus Clinic must delete the information without undue delay.

Under certain conditions, you also have the right to object to how your personal data is processed.

Transfer data

You have the right to request that your personal data be transferred to another person responsible for personal data, so-called data portability. This is provided that the transfer is technically possible and can take place in electronic format.

Complaint

If you are not satisfied with how your personal data has been processed or feel that your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the opportunity to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority Datainspektionen.

Personal information on our website

We collect information about how you as a visitor use the website, and in connection with this your IP address, your approximate position, information about your browser settings and how your operating system uses the pages are saved.
